Their focus is on creating quality and fun board games that can be played many times and then handed down to the next generation.

Today we are featuring Edward (Ned) Damon, Portland resident for 5 years, originally from the wilds of Central Nebraska. Currently working for a Beaverton-based internet company as a Data Scientist. Ned’s top 4 biggest design influences are Sidereal Confluence, Churchill, Pax Pamir 2nd ed. and Diplomacy.

Today we are featuring Marcel Perro. Marcel lives in Vancouver, BC with his wife, Nikki, and their two cats and one dog. He has been playing modern board games since 2006 and co-designed his first game the following year.

Today we are featuring Forrest Gowen, co-designer of the game Sea-dogs. Forrest attended Stumptown Game Summit last year and will be joining us for the first time this year in Designer Alley.
Randy Flynn
Today we are featuring Randy Flynn, designer of Cascadia, and all around lovely human. His game Cascadia is being published by Flatout Games in 2020. Randy is a software engineer by education and trade.

Beau Johnson
Today we are featuring Beau Johnson, co-designer of Gem Cataclysm. Beau lives in Seattle, and is married to Nicolette Butler (who is the co-creator of Very Best Friend Games and Gem Cataclysm). They have been together since 2011 and have a wonderful cat named Penguin. During the day, Beau is an IT Support Specialist and has been working with computers since he was 5.
Tim Eisner
Tim Eisner is a local Portland game designer. He founded weird City games in 2013 and has been dedicated to designing games ever since. His published games include March of the Ants, the Grimm Forest and the upcoming Grimm masquerade, Tidal Blades Aquicorn Cove and more.
Wing Alster and Kari Stocks
Today we are featuring Wing Alster and Kari Stocks the co-creators/designers of Loot & Lute. They live in the Mid-Willamette Valley (Corvallis & Salem) and have day jobs as government peons to pay the bills in between game designing time.
Robert Newton
Today we are featuring Robert Newton, designer of Skeleton Keys, Get That Bread and more. He grew up in Colorado and spent a few years out in the center of Pennsylvania. Robert just recently moved to Seattle and has gotten involved in the designer community there.
