Tim Eisner
Tim Eisner is a local Portland game designer. He founded weird City games in 2013 and has been dedicated to designing games ever since. His published games include March of the Ants, the Grimm Forest and the upcoming Grimm masquerade, Tidal Blades Aquicorn Cove and more. We are excited to have Tim joining us for the first ever Stumptown Game Summit in Designer Alley.
THREE RANDOM FACTS ABOUT TIM:
Tim lived in American Samoa when he was a teenager.
He takes hip hop dance classes.
Tim used to work at the Saturday Market in Portland making macrame jewelry.

THREE BOARD GAME RELATED QUESTIONS:
KR: When did you start designing games?
TE: I worked on my first game design in 2002. It was a drafting game about merchant princes and outfitting their ships with cannons, and crew and goods. It made it through 2 revisions before being put on the shelf. I didn't start designing again until 2012 when I decided to make it my main focus.
KR: If you could co-design a game with any designer, who would you want to work with?
TE: Vlaada Chvatil. His designs are so varied and detailed and full of life.
KR: What part of designing games has been the most enjoyable for you?
TE: The early creation is generally the most exciting as everything is new and full of promise.

KR: If you could live in any fantasy world, which one would you choose?
TE: The Wizard of Earthsea
KR: What are some of your favorite games?
TE: Dune, Dominant Species, Codenames, Imhotep, Pandemic Legacy
KR: What other hobbies do you enjoy?
TE: Hiking, Dancing, drawing, swimming in rivers.
