Today we are featuring Levi Mote Designer of Horizons. Former head game developer at Daily Magic Games. Levi has been designing games since 2010. He dreams of exploring space some day. Levi is a wonderful human who resides in Oregon and is joining us in Designer Alley!
Today we are featuring Victoria Cana designer of Gladius. Victoria is a member of Playtest Northwest and joining us from Seattle. Make sure to stop by and play her game in Designer Alley.
Today we are featuring Beau Johnson, co-designer of Gem Cataclysm. Beau lives in Seattle, and is married to Nicolette Butler (who is the co-creator of Very Best Friend Games and Gem Cataclysm). They have been together since 2011 and have a wonderful cat named Penguin. During the day, Beau is an IT Support Specialist and has been working with computers since he was 5.
Tim Eisner is a local Portland game designer. He founded weird City games in 2013 and has been dedicated to designing games ever since. His published games include March of the Ants, the Grimm Forest and the upcoming Grimm masquerade, Tidal Blades Aquicorn Cove and more.
Today we are featuring Wing Alster and Kari Stocks the co-creators/designers of Loot & Lute. They live in the Mid-Willamette Valley (Corvallis & Salem) and have day jobs as government peons to pay the bills in between game designing time.
Today we are featuring Robert Newton, designer of Skeleton Keys, Get That Bread and more. He grew up in Colorado and spent a few years out in the center of Pennsylvania. Robert just recently moved to Seattle and has gotten involved in the designer community there.
Today we are featuring Matt Jacobs - One of the designers of Kitten Klash, XO, Stollis and more. He lives in Corvallis, in the beautiful Mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon with his partner and two kids.
Today we are featuring designer Dawson Cowals, designer of soon to the soon to be Kickstarted game Ratfink: Scurry and Scamper. Dawson started designing his first game Ratfink: Scurry & Scamper with good friend Jeff Huit back in February of 2016 which they are finally getting ready to release on Kickstarter, hopefully later this Summer!
Today we are featuring Michael and Jason O’Connell from Anarchy Game Studio who will be joining us in Designer Alley. Michael works as a software/ IT consultant and Jason is a student. Jason’s younger brother Zachary also assists in game design and play-testing but unfortunately will not be joining us at Stumptown Game Summit.
Today we are featuring Elizabeth Hargrave, designer of Wingspan which recently broke the top 100 on BoardGameGeek. Elizabeth moved to Washington, DC after graduate school to work for the federal government.
Today we are featuring Mike Caputo and Elle Kelshmeimer designers of Grimmsdorf. Mike Caputo & Elle Kelsheimer work in technology by day, but at night they are Calamity Bay Games, where they turn their passions for strategy and atmosphere into immersive board games.
Today we are featuring Tony Miller, co-designer of Fire in the Library. Tony lives in Tigard, Oregon with his lovely wife, amazing son, and 3 ungrateful cats.
Local GeekDad writer Jonathan Liu is teaming up with Stumptown Game Summit and sharing part of his extensive board game collection with us. With over 1200+ games available in his personal library, Jonathan’s generosity is sure to give SGS attendees a lot of options to play.
