The “Paint and Take” is back at Granite Game Summit! Take some time off from non stop gaming this weekend to try your hand at painting some miniatures. Gaming company Modiphius Entertainment have generously donated some stunning miniatures from the official Fallout world, with painting supplies sponsored by The Army Painter.
Today we are featuring Japhet Stevens, a long time supporter and friend of Granite Game Summit who will be joining us for the first time in Designer Alley to show off his game, Treasury. I have personally had the pleasure of playing Treasury in one of its earliest iterations and I have gotten to see it play-tested numerous times.
Today we are featuring Mary Flanagan and Max Seidman of Resonym, and indie publishing company. They will be joining us at Granite Game Summit in Designer Alley for the first time. Their game Visitor in Blackwood Grove won the audience choice award at the Boston Festival of Indie Games in 2017.

We here at G2S are a small group. There is only three of us who plan and organize our event so that hundreds of people can come together to game and have a good time. When it comes to the weekend of the event, we need a few more helping hands to assist in providing a smooth, meaningful experience for all. We need your help to make that happen.
I don’t know about you but I dread one aspect of going to a board game convention. It seems like everyone is a late night party animal, and there seems to be no early risers. My theory is there are many of us we just cave to the whims of the masses. Well two of the three organizers are early risers and this year Mike and I have decided to make a space for all us morning maniacs!
From the imagination of legendary game designer Richard Garfield comes a game unlike anything the world has ever seen—a game where every deck is as unique as the person who wields it and no two battles will ever be the same.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, because Granite Game Summit is quickly approaching, obviously. As the event grows closer there may be a couple of small things that you’ve missed and we want to be sure you know they’re out there and ready to be utilized.
Today we are featuring Greg Krupp, designer of Crowkeeper. Greg lives in Ulster County, New York where he studies Geographic Information Systems at SUNY New Paltz. Many moons ago, he worked as a carpenter in Woodstock, NY and lived in glorified squat houses with multiple beer-soaked copies of Cities and Knights.
This year we are pleased to be hosting You’ve Been Poisoned: Escape Room. Created and run by Tim Blank, designer of Oh My Gods! And Bumuntu. You can challenge yourself and do a good deed at the same time. The $5 per person fee for this event goes directly to Boston Children’s Hospital.
Today we are featuring Ben Mitchell from DoubleWatt Games. Ben lives in Newtown Square, PA, which is a small suburb about 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia ("Go EAGLES!"). He is a software developer by day, currently specializing in machine learning data analysis in the healthcare field.
Today we are featuring Chris Michaud, better known as “Your Moderator Chris” from the Flip the Table podcast. Chris was the producer and moderator of Flip the Table from 2012-2017, reviewing over 111 cheesy, weird, and obscure board games for a die hard audience.
Today we are featuring Rosco Schock. By day Rosco is a software engineer who makes mobile apps and websites. He went to Penn State University and is joining us from Lancaster, PA.
Our change in venue this year has allowed us a new opportunity for those who will be staying on site. A private floor just of the hotel just for Granite Game Summit attendees. For just $280 (tax included) you can have a room on the exclusive Executive Level for both Friday & Saturday night during our event.
Today we are featuring Steve Finn who is the owner of Dr. Finn's Games, which is an independent game publishing company that publishes his own games. The "Dr" in the title refers to his PhD in philosophy, which is related to Steve's primary job, i.e., being a professor of philosophy.
