Bill Huffman
We are excited to be welcoming Bill Huffman to this year’s Designer Alley at #G2S2026!
A little bit about Bill in his own words:
My wife and I and our two teenage children live in NH and enjoy playing games together, when we have the time. I am a copyeditor by trade. I’ve played games my whole life. My first game design was when I was about 10, an Empire Strikes Back themed game. I have playtested my games at numerous cons, including Granite Game Summit, and I love how receptive people are to trying something new and in development. In general, I love how people of all backgrounds and ages can gather to play a game, temporarily set aside their stresses and worries, and enjoy each other’s company. My first published game - Contralateral - is scheduled for an early 2027 release from The Seahorse and The Hummingbird. When it was playtested at G2S, it was called Enemy Lines.
Three Random Facts about Bill:
Bill has played one of his favorite games more than 1,000 times.
He still has his favorite teddy bear from when he was a kid.
Bill’s wife is a published author.
BILL WILL BE SHOWING OFF HIS GAME THE GREAT PATCH IN DESIGNER ALLEY AT #G2S2026
The Great Patch is a cooperative engine builder, where players try to reduce the amount of plastic waste in The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The Patch, the surrounding gyre, and the two main currents that feed into it have minicards, dice of two sizes, and wooden sticks that represent the waste. Players use and reuse the cards and dice to activate their engines to mitigate the waste buildup and effects of Pollution.
