One of my favorite parts of the Granite Game Summit is the "Play to Win" track. How cool is it that you can come to a gaming event and have a chance to win just by playing a game? Sometimes these games are well known classics, other times they are brand new and is a fun way to generate buzz around them. But one aspect of it is that it can be daunting to sit down and try to learn the game while at the event itself.

Today we are featuring Ben Warren, Matthew Jeffery, and Steven Landau of DiceBreakers. The DiceBreakers crew resides in New Jersey, but will be joining us in Nashua, for #G2SFall16. Ben and MJ were at our first event in May, but this will be Steven's first Granite Game Summit, so be sure to challenge him to a game of Klask. The DiceBreakers make exceptional quality videos where they teach the rules and show you the action of a variety of board games. Since inventing “The Game of 49,” Mark Corsey has had to quit saying, “Hey, don’t look at me, I didn’t make the rules!” In game playing and in general, he plays by the rules; he only dresses like an outlaw.
Today’s feature is another double feature, this one is a little different though. Today we have Dave Logvin, designer of Vampires & Villagers: The Curse of Cristoph, and Hannah J. Merchant, the art designer and illustrator for the game.
Today we have a double feature for you, Matt Golec and Robert Dijkman Dulkes, designers of Penny Press. They are a game design team living in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. Their game, Penny Press, won Cards Against Humanity’s Tabletop Deathmatch and was published by Asmadi Games. We are looking forward to having them as guests at Granite Game Summit.
Today’s featured designer is Bobby Fowler, of Space Chase, a not yet published game. He lives in scenic Manchester, NH and is currently raising several young prototype games. He has high hopes that one day they will grow up, get jobs and move out of the house, but is unsure of when that will happen. Bobby enjoys both designing games as well as creating artwork for them. You can see his current games in progress at http://almostagame.com and follow along with the steps of his design process on his blog: http://almostagame.com/blog/.
Today’s featured designer is Chip Beauvais, designer of the games Smoke and Mirrors and ChromaCubes. He also runs a game on Twitter, A Little Alliteration, which can be found @LitAlliteration. Today’s feature designer is Kevin Crane, who also happens to be one of our Granite Game Summit organizers. Kevin is a Husband, and a father to two boys, who loves to create, no matter the medium. He is an amateur game designer who is in the process of publishing his first game, Robit Riddle, but does not currently have any games on the market.

As a new game event we have a very limited library (although it has grown because of generous donations from people like you). But in order to best serve everyone that is coming we have tables for everyone to put their games out if they wish.
