Runaway Parade
This week we are featuring Gwen & Samuel from Runaway Parade and designers of Fire Tower. Gwen and Samuel initially met at Sarah Lawrence College in 2007 and a partnership was formed. Runaway Parade began as a multimedia online publication, which you can find the archives here, but after 70 issues they decided it had run its course.
Jessica Davis
Today we are featuring Jess Davis who is also known as Boardgame Girl. Jess has been playing games since she was a young child. Her family loved Bingo, which may contribute to her propensity to yell out board games! at a moment’s notice, and playing card games like 31.In fact, her aunts and uncles were borderline compulsive gamblers, betting nickels on their hands of 31 almost every single night.

We are pleased to announce that Midgard Comics and Games will be joining us this year as our vendor. They are a local comic and game store located in Derry, New Hampshire. They plan to be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday of #G2S18 for all of your game buying needs!

Portsmouth Escape Room
We are excited to announce that we will have the crew from Portsmouth Escape Room joining us Saturday March 10th, 2018 at #G2S18! They will be hosting a pop-up escape room starting at 10 a.m.. The pop-up event is a 15 minute puzzle for up to 5 people at a time.
Darren Kisgen
Today we are featuring Darren Kisgen the designer of Dragonwood. Darren was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He has a PhD in Finance from the University of Washington, and degrees in Mathematics, Economics and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.

New Hampshire State Championships
We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the New Hampshire State Championships for the games Diamonds, Skull King, Game of 49, Neuroshima Hex, Nevermore and Dimension. The winner of each game will receive a trophy, a copy of that game, plus a seat at the final round of the Northeast Regional Championship at DEXCON 21 (as well as a free badge to DEXCON 21)!

Today we are featuring Dan Hundycz designer of Affliction: Salem 1692 and Pirates. Dan formed DPH Games Inc. 5 years ago and was formerly a school counselor. Getting people together, interacting, problem solving and having fun is a priority for him.

Spring 2018 G2S Date Officially Announced (and Other Updates)
We, the G2S staff, would like to thank all of you for helping us continue to grow and thrive. Our single day events, and our very first multi-day events have all been quite successful and we couldn’t have done it without you. It has been a really great first year and a half, we are unbelievably grateful for the opportunity to help build the community.
Chris Moriarity
Today’s featured designer is Chris Moriarty, the designer of To Windward!- The Lunar Islands and founder of Tower St. Games. Tower St. Games was born last June when it became apparent that a game he was working on had legs.
Tim Schuetz
Today’s featured designer is Tim Schuetz, designer of Interstellar Fabricators. Tim was lucky enough to grow up with geeky parents and spent much of his life playing board games, video games and RPGs.
